There are lots of ways to support charities through your workplace or business. We have outlined some options below - see what’s right for you.

SarcoidosisUK relies on the support of donations to operate and continue funding essential and world-class medical research, support people with sarcoidosis, and provide much-needed sarcoidosis-related information.

Below are some ways you can show your support through your workplace or business:

  • Nominate SarcoidosisUK as your Charity of the Year with your business. This is a commitment you and your business can make for 12 months to support and raise funds in aid of SarcoidosisUK. We would love the opportunity to work with your business, to raise awareness of sarcoidosis, and support our commitment to funding research into a cure.
  • Matched funding is a great way that many businesses can show support for charities, and their employees. Many organisations offer match funding as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme. Company funds used for CAF Matched Giving are tax-effective and can be deducted from your organisation’s corporation tax.

If you are an employer or an employee and want to know more, you can get in touch with us here.

Knot Defeated
Knot Defeated is a fairly new venture for Andrea Carr, having started the business in April 2017

Knot Defeated is a new venture for Andrea Carr. After having to take time off from full-time work due to sarcoidosis, Andrea decided to unleash some of her energy and creativity, and raise awareness and support charities dear to her heart by starting Knot Defeated in April 2017, an online shop selling goods made by Andrea herself.

Proceeds from sales are being donated to SarcoidosisUK. Please visit the Knot Defeated page and support where you can! T-shirts and tote-bags are available, as well as bracelets, key-rings, and charms.

Thank you so much, Andrea, you are a star!
